Blog Category: No Category Blog Tags: No Tags I started writing songs a little late in life as my cousin was killed on X-mas day '05.The accident happened when he was coming down a service road to pick up the Mrs at work (2:30pm)and some bastard up ahead just had to wait till the last possible moment to make a left. My cousin swerved away didn't keep good control of the skidding and came back to the side of the road he was originally travelling and went off the road and hit a telegraph pole - driver door. A witness saw what happened and the car turning left (stopped after the turn), took a look and simply drove away. My cousin left behind a Mrs.,Shelly and two children: Anishia(11) and Alek (8). I cannot express in words how I truly feel about this tragic event, but only to say how deeply saddened I've been. The best mechanism for coping with this was finally playing the song for Shelly. Also present was my brother Wes, his Mrs. Wendy, My Mrs. Sally and of course Shelly. The waterworks filled the room. I'm just renovating my small studio and will post a cut of this 1st song probably early in the new year on myspace. -Ash 0 Comments
